KIDS SWIMMING PROGRAMS
JUNIOR COMPETITION SQUAD
For swimmers aged 10 and above who are ready to move beyond two 60 minute sessions weekly. This program focuses on competitive swimming and performance training. With professional coaches and an Olympic sized pool, swimmers refine speed, technique, and endurance while building focus and discipline.
JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT SQUADS
Ideal for 7 to 12 year-olds looking to advance from Learn to Swim. Children refine their stroke technique across all four competitive styles while learning starts, turns, and racing skills. Under the guidance of expert coaches, each swimmer develops confidence, stamina, and precision in a professional environment.
JUNIORS LEARN TO SWIM
Created for 5 to 10 year old who have mastered basic water safety and are ready to progress. This program develops efficient breathing, streamlined movement, and proper technique in freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly. It builds a solid foundation for lifelong swimming and prepares young swimmers for higher levels.
BABIES AND TODDLERS
Designed for children aged 1 to 6, this program introduces young swimmers to water in a fun, safe, and engaging way. Through guided play, parents and toddlers learn comfort with submersion, floating, and kicking, building confidence and water awareness from an early age in a secure environment.

Ahmed Gebrel
Ahmed Gebrel is the junior aquatics competition squads program manager. He is 2 times former Olympics swimmer and has been coaching for over 6 years in Dubai. 2x Former Olympic Swimmer, competed in many national and international swimming competitions and won various awards.
Ross Hay
Ross Hay is the program manager for Toddlers and Learn to swim here at FitRepublik. Swimming has always been his passion, having been on or close to a poolside since the age of 4 years old. He swam competitively at national meets as a teenager which then lead on to 15 years teaching and coaching. The thing he loves most is watching someone develop on their swimming journey.
Amy
With over 7 years’ experience Coach Amy has always had passion for teaching sports to kids. She spent part of her childhood teaching karate to adults and kids and swimming. Her passion for Martial Arts has earned her black belt. While being a great Martial Artist is part of Amy’s background, she is a dedicated swimming coach managing the younges ones: babies and toddlers. With over 10 years of swim training experience, she brings her knowledge to the ones that need it the most.

Dylan is a seasoned aquatics professional with a 9-year journey in coaching. His passion for swim training has taken him across the globe, coaching national level swimmers and collaborating with renowned coaches on a national, commonwealth and Olympic level. With multiple aquatics programs in the U.A.E, Qatar and the United Kingdom under his belt he brings a wealth of experience to the aquatic arena.
